I urgently needed a mini storage unit at 7 PM, and this was the only one that responded immediately, so I could move in right away. The staff were friendly and attentive. I initially looked at a 26-square-foot storage unit, but they recommended other sizes as well. I didn't mind choosing a smaller one and rented it immediately; the paperwork was quick and convenient. The location is convenient, right next to the Kwun Tong MTR station, and not far from Lam Tin. The only downside is the HK$20 parking fee for the industrial building entrance. If you don't want to pay, I suggest unloading your goods in a van at a nearby street corner and pushing it there. This isn't the storage unit's problem, but I'm just mentioning it for your information. The environment and floors were clean and tidy.

1. Do I need to pay a deposit when renting the Quarry Bay / Taikoo mini storage?
We charge a deposit equivalent to one month’s standard monthly rent. The deposit will be refunded within one month after you vacate the unit, provided all move-out conditions are met. The deposit cannot be used to offset rent, transportation fees or any other charges.
2. What items are prohibited in the Quarry Bay / Taikoo mini storage?
To comply with the Fire Services Department’s safety requirements and international industry standards, dangerous goods (including drugs, corrosive or oxidising substances, flammable items, explosives, firearms, batteries and other prohibited goods), food (or other perishable items), illegal or disturbing items (such as ashes) are strictly prohibited in RESTORE’s storage facilities. 3. What is the minimum and maximum rental period for the Quarry Bay / Taikoo mini storage?
For all RESTORE branches, including the Quarry Bay / Taikoo mini storage, the minimum rental period is 1 month and the maximum is 12 months.
